Definition of Service Delivery Management Plan

And the definition of a service delivery management plan is how you are going to deliver the service to your customers. We can say that the service delivery management plan has two different things.

The first one is how we provide or deliver the particular service and the second one is how we monitor or control the process. That’s why it is also known as a process management plan.

For example, if you are going to implement a project then you should have a clear process flow so that you can easily control it in the future. It will help you in the future if there are any changes to be done to that project.

So for example, let us consider some business scenarios like Project Implementation, Sales Management, etc. For example, if you are going to implement a project.

If there are some changes in the project then we can easily adjust it by using this process flow diagram. So this is the first part of a service delivery management plan.

The second part is about monitoring and controlling the process. It means how we can ensure that the service is being delivered properly to our customers or end-users.

The monitoring and control measures are also known as performance measures. For example, if you want to deliver a software product to your customers then how you will know about the performance of that software.

So in this case, you can say how many users are using that software. And also how many bugs are reported from those users etc.
